Dr Chris David Donaldson

Chris is dual qualified in medicine and dentistry, completing his undergraduate training at King's College London. After working in both hospital medicine and dentistry he completed specialist training in London and was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons. He was appointed as a Consultant in the National Health Service (NHS) and now works part-time at an NHS Hospital in London.

His specialist clinical interests are in virtual surgical planning in maxillo-facial surgery and the computer-aided design and manufacture, using 3D bio-medical printing, of medical appliances and patient-specific anatomical models.

Chris has specific expertise in the design of orthodontic appliances and has authored a chapter in a leading orthodontic textbook on the 'state of the art'. Chris also peer reviews for a leading orthodontic journal.
